outdoor swimming activity

Good day,

On the Garmin watch Venu is no outdoor activity. In find this very unfortunate, because I could use the open water activity as a triathlete. I think for other people this would also be helpful.

Open Water Swim is on on the "tri" watches. Upper end Forerunners and Fenix/Marq devices.

There's some "smarts" needed, for things like GPS and if an external HRM involved (data gets batched and downloaded when you're done swimming).

There are some CIQ apps for this, but I've never used any of them.
