Can the Garmin Venu recognize that you are doing the exact same running route and compare your performance?

Hi! Can the Garmin Venu recognize that you are doing the exact same running route and compare your performance? If so, how?

(I just got the Garmin Venu. I tend to do the same running route each time and I am wondering if the Venu can detect based on GPS that the route is the same and compare my heart rate and pace, etc during a certain time or part of the route compared to the last time I ran the same route.) Thanks!

HI there. Unfortunately, the device will not do that. It will alert you fastest mile, fastest 5k etc. but not by comparing the routes you are running. You can log into connect.garmin.com and look at both runs after they have been completed.
