Hello! I am sorry to see this has happened. Can you plug the device into the computer and sync Garmin Express then hold the power button for 45 seconds ignoring power off. Turn the device back on and sync with the app. Let me know if the device starts to monitor again?
Hi, this happened to my 1.5 year old Venu too. It kept asking me update software which I did through Garmin Express. After the update, the steps, whr tracking and others were gone. The sottware versions became 0.00. I tried resetting (soft, hard, 45 seconds, 10 seconds you name it) and it still doesn't work. Please help!
Hi! Can you reset the device by going into the settings of the watch, then walk outside and try to connect to the satellites? If this does not work, can you tell me where you are located?

I tried resetting the device and then connected to GPS outside via activity. It still does not work. Same issue as before; software update message keeps popping up and sensor version is 0.00; WHR version is 0.00.00; BMX is 0.0.0. Connecting to Garmin Express doesn't change anything either. My location is Singapore. I tried taking the watch to the local service centre but they said they couldn't help me. I called the Taiwanese distributor and they told me that nobody had complained about the same issue although I pointed out to them that the same issue had been discussed in this forum. They suggested that I paid for the charges to send the watch back to Taiwan for repair or buy a new one : O. If the software upgrade caused the watch to be non-functionable as suggested in this thread I would expect a better diagnosis / service from Garmin. Hope you can help.

I have the same issue with my Venu. All sensors are OFF/disabled starting from 2-3 days ago (not sure when exactly). Everything works perfectly before that time.
Sometimes sensors become live for 20-30 seconds, but then turned OFF again.
I have tried "Delete data and reset settings" without success.
I have tried to revert to SW versions 5.70 and 5.75 without success.
Heart rate sensor blinks for 1-2 seconds when I turn "wrist heart rate" status to OFF and then AUTO.
SW ver: 5.80
Sensor ver: 9.01
WHR ver: 2.00.04
My location: Ukraine
Please advice what I can do to fix this problem?
Can you please share previous version of the sensor? I want to downgrade to it.
