Version 5.60 not clearing notifications

After the new update my Venu has not been clearing notifications. Using "dismiss" does nothing.

Additionally, I get the notification twice - once when it comes across to my phone without me opening it and again when I open the notification on my phone.

I have restarted my Venu and my phone and really don't know what else to do but the double notifying is getting annoying.

Hello! When you restarted the Venu. Did you press the top right button till it asked to power off and said "Yes"? If so, can I have you try a hard reset instead. Press and hold the top right button until the screen goes blank, ignoring the power off question. Once it is off, let it sit off for a full minute and then turn it back on. Let me know if this helps or not.
