If I delete Garmin connect app will it delete all my settings and data stored?

I had a Fenix 3 and have a new Venu. I’m trying to download a golf course to the Venu and connect says it’s downloaded but doesn’t show up on the Venu must think it’s downloaded to fenix IDK. That’s why I’m wondering if I need to delete the connect app off iPhone.

Hello! Deleting the app doesn't delete the data. Do you have the Venu set as your preferred activity? Do you also see a green dot on the top of the right hand corner?

Thank you I deleted the Garmin Connect app off iPhone downloaded back to phone and was able to download the golf course.

Ok! You should not have to delete the app from the phone. If something like that were to happen again. Be sure to check the preferred activity and what the connection between the app and device.
