Parallel satellite selection for Venu golf activity?

I just bought a Garmin Venu, and I will use it mainly for golf (though it is not marketed as a golf watch). Before buying I checked from the manual that Venu allows a selection of parallel satellites for outdoor activities. However, after having bought the device, I was surprised not finding the satellite selection option for golf. So, please make promptly a SW update for Venu allowing this (GPS+Glonass and GPS+Galileo). I do not mind if it consumes battery in an excessive way.

Hi ! Just for your information, I've asked the same question and this is the answer I got:

I spoke with my help desk and they said that the reason there isn't an option to enable additional satellites for golf activities is because they don't improve GPS performance by much. The reason that is, is because we are typically in an open area for a long enough period of time while golfing and not moving at a fast pace, so the watch doesn't struggle to provide accurate GPS information as it can when running in a densely covered area for a long duration of time.

So don't expect an update anytime soon. :-D
