request : Lowest HR/spo2 value

Hi all,

I've got my Venu since Christmas and i'm very happy with, but i'm a bit confused about the HR / SPO2.

I'm freediver, not using it on water (i've got a specific computer with HR Belt) but on dry training i'm not really happy with the results/accuracy of the values.
I'm using a pulse Oxymeter and a HR belt connected to my phone and a specific app.

On training HR and SPO2 are changing lot on short time (SPO2 99 to 60% on 5 minutes, HR from 80 to 45 bpm on the same time).

But the Venu doesn't record this changes. The SPO2 still remain to 98% during the exercice, and the HR always 10 bpm up than the belt.

Before the Venu i've got another HR watch (Mi Band3) and the lowest HR recording was about 47 bpm (right with the HR belt).

for the venu the lowest is 51average.
I've see 47 BPM value one time, and this was not on the daily recording !

I now i'm using the HR different than others but i'd like to know is Garmin could set the "lowest HR&spo2 value" recording ?

Thank's in advance

  • The Venu, when set to “All Day” only takes your SP02 when you’re inactive.  If you’re exercising or moving about it won’t take it.

The Health Stats Widget will show you your lowest and highest HR values for the last 4 hours when you go deeper into the widget by tapping on the widget, then scrolling to HR.  The SP02 widget should do the same thing but again, my understanding is it only takes it during the day while inactive.  And during an “activity” it doesn’t take it at all.
