Latest software version

I just purchased a Venu on Amazon and after updates I'm on software 5.1. Is that the latest software? Also how do I know I got the US version and not the Asian? After ordering it I read some people get the Asia version but I want to make sure mine is the US one.

Languages are a big difference, and the APAC firmware usually lags the ROW/WW (rest of world) version

You should be able to tell by the languages available to you. You’ll see French, Italiano, Deutschland, Damsk etc in the ROW version.

The latest software versions are pinned to the top of the forum. You have the latest, a newer version is in beta.
