Virtual RIDE (or Run) for VENU

Hi! Could we get a Virtual RIDE option on the Venu, similar to the Virtual RUN option offered on other devices? It could work with indoor interactive trainers to capture cadence, power, speed, heartrate, and connect with Zwift. (Or even just allowing the Virtual Run option to work on Venu would be appreciated)

    I agree.  Using a treadmill or spin bike should be listed under fitness (since they are gym bound) and not just "running" or "biking" under sport watch.  I prefer the Venu 2 because i really dislike the only buttons on Forerunners.  For $300-$400, it should be included, regardless of what the Garmin Forerunner fanboys or their product segmentation team think.  Personally, i think Garmin will add this to their "fitness" product line when Apple adds it to their watch, or they'll add it on the Venu 3 to help drive adoption.  Apple is coming for them.  If you look at their last Q results (thank you 5krunner) sales are slowing and slower growth means lower market share.  Listen to your users and work to keep users and not push them away.

    Adding Virtual Run to the Venue 2 is an absolute no brainer and I think your users would be thrilled to have this feature! Please make this happen Garmin.

    And I'd like to see Virtual Ride as well as additions to the Venu 2, not a future Venu 3.  They are both fitness/gym apps that match your product segmetation

    Good point, annoying that after three year its decided to nothing about it. All these additional purchases it's so stupid. I don't want to buy a new watch while mine is still working. The garmin support could be way better.

    It's not so much Garmin support as it is Garmin's marketing strategy. The fact is that none of the watches in the "Health & Wellness" category (Venu, vivoactive, etc.) have the Virtual Run profile, and probably never will. Of course, with the Covid 19 pandemic starting late 2019, this increased a lot of demand for virtual everything, regardless of the device. And this really started to ramp up with "shelter in place" orders in several US states starting in March 2020. Guessing this is why the OP started this thread over 3 years ago.

    This was there reaction bellow; many have watches have this function. They are not fixing the problem but telling to upgrade.
