Havit G1 Bluetooth headphones not pairing with Venu

I have a pair of Havit G1 headphones wireless headphones. I recently purchased a Garmin Venu and wish to pair the headphones with it but the pair fails each time. I can see the headphones show up on the watch but when I click to pair I am told they have failed. I've deleted the bluetooth profile from my other devices... not sure what else to try... Any ideas?

UPDATE: They are working. I left them to charge overnight and tried again the next day. All is well. Sorry for the premature post!
