Holiday watch faces drain battery

Garmin sent an email out last week regarding the new holiday watch faces. I downloaded it. I set it to stay on ONE watch face.

The face is slow to wake up when I flip my wrist. And it would seem to be draining my battery much faster than usual. So disappointing. Anyone else using them without issue?

Was it the Christmas Jumper? I noticed that one drained mine as well. I've had better luck with Christmas Tree (the free one with light on top).

Yes it was. Usually the Garmin faces don't drain battery and are quick to load with the wrist gesture. This one not so much. I can't use it with this bad battery life. I'll try to find the one you suggested.

I tried Christmas Jumper a year ago. So slow to wake. I had hoped with some of the firmware updates this past year that had changed. I guess not.

Oh I presumed this was a new face since Garmin sent out an email last week about them! I'm bummed cause the Garmin faces usually work the best and have the least battery impact.
