Venu Series GPS 4.80 is now live

This update can be downloaded with Garmin Express or automatically with Garmin Connect Mobile, pending rollout.

    it sounds like you got a bad unit. i have both venu & apple watch right now, trying to decide which to keep, & the gps and heart rate readings have been very similar on each

    My time to first GPS fix is _much_ better now in NYC. It only took a few seconds. Thanks.

    How do you update the GPS?

    I mean, just got the watch for christmas, and I simply cannot get the GPS function to work what so ever. Doesn't help that I have no clue to where to look for something that would tell me the current position.

    So downloaded a widget that should present WGS84 prosition.... but it keeps saying no satellite connection.

    I've updated my garmin venu to this latest GPS software (4.80) and it is now highly inaccurate - it was working fine before! Is there a way I can remove the update?

    Hi Amber, I bought my Garmin Venu about 6 months ago and no can’t get any GPS. What can you suggest? How do I update my GPS to the latest version. My connect app is up to date. Thank you!

    Hi there! Can you plug the device into the computer and sync the device with Garmin Express If an update does not go through unplug the device and we will need you to reset the device to defaults. Once the reset is done can you step outside and see if the device connects to the GPS.
