Yoga Workouts

Along with the other complaints about the yoga workout animations (hard to watch the animation and do the pose simultaneously, poor flow between poses, etc.) I would find it helpful if there was a visual que as to when to switch sides during the workout.  All the animations show 1 side only.  A simple arrow on the right or left side of the face would suffice.

  • Hello, thank you for your feedback. There is no guarantee that this change will be made, but we do hear you and always appreciate user feedback on how we can improve our products and your customer experience.

  • Yes, the animations makes no sense. Seems only to be a marketing joke or coded from peoples which does not use such things. The wholy thing is implemented as datafield which only starts when the activity starts. It would be better if it starts before on the screen where the name of the pose/unit is written. Should be not a big problem to solve. But also after a year it is not usable. I do not understand this because the idea is great!!! A nice thing would be to see the animation on the website/app while the workout too (yes, it is possible to view it before but it also makes no sense while doing a workout). As Garmin-AmberD wrote it is not quarantee that the change will be made, but for me it is clearly a bug...

  • Garmin, drag a yoga trainer from his studio to your programming department during an afternoon and it will be fixed...

  • Hello! I apologize for any frustration the watch may be causing. I wanted to follow up as I see you said your watch is unusable. I would like to help in getting the watch working again for you. Can you tell me a little more about whats going on.

i remember one of the workouts had something like "left leg xyz pose" and "right leg xyz pose" in the labels - that would be do the trick i think even if the animation can't be updated

  • For me, actually seeing the animation during the workout takes several interactions. I lose about 10-15 seconds of the 30 second pose. A fix for this would be to have the animation start as soon as the pose starts.
