Does Venu underestimate burned calories?

Hi. So I've had the Venu for 3 days now and I'm not sure but it feels like it underestimates burned calories. My total daily burned calories are around 400 less than it used to be on my Fitbit. So was the fitbit overestimating or is the garmin underestimating? I went for a run yesterday and calories burned during my run were pretty much on par with fitbit. Went to the gym today and did strength workout and my burned calories were about 100 less than it used to be on fitbit. According to fitbit on a normal day I would burn around 3000 calories. On garmin it will be around 2600 and that's my total resting and active. That's a big difference in my opinion. I double check all the data I've put into my profile and it's all correct. Does anyone have any idea why is there such a big difference? Thank you.
