Venu SQ - battery feedback

The Venu SQ has been out for several weeks now, so hopefully someone here can provide some insight.

The Venu SQ has an always-on display mode. Both garmin specs and every review I read says that it decreases battery life, and that is understandable. However nowhere have I found any info on how big the impact is. Is it 20% less battery? Or is it 50%?

Does any of you guys and gals use the always on display mode on the venu sq and can share your experience?

  • It is tough to gauge the amount of impact the battery life can be affected because there are multiple factors that go into play for how each device is set up. Meaning, how often the GPS is used, notifications and music.

  • Thank you for your input.

I am aware that it is not possible to give an exact number. However, for the time being, I have not seen even a very rough estimate. Given that the specs say 6 days in normal mode, how much can I expect - give or take - with similar usage pattern with display in always-on mode? Is it 4-5 days? Or more like 1-2 days? I'd be grateful if anyone could share their experience.
