Venu SQ - Full brightness at night

I set the display brigtness to highest in settings. When i run at nighttime display brightness is automatic set to lowest. I don't see well at numbers at that settings (during daytime it is OK). Is there a settings to disable auto brightness (or disable sensor) and set it to fullest al the time no mater if it is day or night?

  • Unfortunately, their is not a way to disable the auto brightness or disable the sensor.

If one cannot turn off this function and I cannot read my phone at night the phone is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

I have the same problem. the brightness of the display goes in and out regardless of which of the three brightness settings I have selected.  I don't run with reading glasses on, and can't see the screen at all when I'm outside during the day, which as the above comment points out, renders the watch useless.  I can not see the distance I've covered, or how much time has lapsed during a run.  I will have to go back to using my old watch and carrying my phone in an armband.

On previous forums, I have noticed that this problem has been an issue for over a year.  What Gives?

I just received mine and am majorly dissapointed in this too.
I've reached out to their "have an idea" department. I figure that will reach the people that actually develop ideas / implement the programming. I suggest you / we all do the same.
