Why does Venu keeps asking to update every few minutes?

It seems to be stuck in some sort of updating cycle. Green update check button on the bottom of the screen and red X button on the top. Middle of the face says "Software updates are available. Est. time 1 min. Install updates now?". A blue triangle appears and then some sort of what looks like a download logo. Eventually the watch gets back to it's regular watch face. Then a few minutes later it asks again to update again, over and over again.

    This didn't work for me. There is no GUPDATE.GCD in GARMIN folder. When I open garmin express it says that no updates are available, I sync it once or a few times, doesn't matter. And every time I remove the watch from the charging cable the watch says that there is an update available

    I have almost exactly the same issue. No Gupdate.GCD anywhere on the watch. I can however run an 'update' in Garmin express. But after doing this & then letting my watch process the update, there is no different. GPS version remains at 0.00 and GPS doesn't work.

    Hi, I have the same issue. I couldn't find the file GUPDATE.GCD in the GARMIN folder. The system is offering me an update every 10 minutes. GPS version remains also at 0.00 and it hasn't been available for more than a week.

    If you have 0.00 as your GPS version and no GUPDATE.GCD file in your Garmin folder, you could also check the RemoteSW folder (in the Garmin folder) for any .gcd files there.  If you see any, delete it/them and then sync with Garmin Express on your computer.  If this is unsuccessful, I would encourage you to reach out to your local Garmin Support team.  If you need assistance finding that contact info, let me know where you live and I can post a link to the local support page for you, where you can find the contact info.

    I need instructions for mac. I just purchased this watch a few days ago AUG 2021 and on the first day this issue occurred and although it has lessened...it requests to update every few hours.

    Hey 

    I also get asked multiple times per day for a software update. I would love to see it resolved. I'm ok with receiving a personal message about this. My gps version is 4.04. And my software version is 2.90.
