Just bought a Garmin Venu. Upgrade from a Vivoactive 3. Was able to control music playing on my phone with the vivo3. When I try to do this with the Venu it asks me to pair headphones with the watch. I believe this would leave me with only 5 hours of battery life. I want to listen to the music from my phone with headphones connected to phone and use the watch only as a remote control, no reduced battery life, as I regularly listen for 12+ hours. Is this possible?
