Face It watch faces are so slow to load

I love the ability to use my photo as a background on my watch. I did this with fitbit all the time. I set up my venu with a face from the "Face It" feature in Connect IQ. But holy delay!!! Why does it take so long for the watch to load the face? I mean I feel like I'm staring at my watch forever. sometimes I feel like it didn't acknowledge the gesture, but it did. It simply is taking that long to show the face. Is this fixable at all? It's disappointing to say the least. The stock faces load so quickly, but the options are so limited

This is an issue with every non-stock watchface. In my experience, every watchface that didn't come installed on the watch takes a good 3 seconds to display when I move my wrist. It's annoying enough that I only use the stock watchfaces and will probably switch to a different watch if they don't fix it.

So unfortunate. I don't love the stock faces and this restricts the options greatly. I can't stare at a blank screen for 3 secs everytime I look at my watch. That's dumb. I wonder if there is a way to find out if they are going to fix it?

Even on very simple faces he has a delay ... I'm afraid it was wanted by Garmin, like the fact of not enabling personalized workouts

Im not sure, how should i because i didn't build this. I wouldn't be surprised if the "3. party watchfaces" are stored in the "external" Musikmemory and this connection to the internal is slow AND the WFs will not be cached somewhere.
You turn your wrist, watch have to pull the WF from the "external" memory and this needs a while.

This is a side effect of the AMOLED display. There's noting similar in the MIP (Memory in pixel) displays of the other garmin watches.

But how? I have some AMOLED Tracker/Watches without that problem, Huawei, Samsung, Amazfit and so on.
But you are right, if im right this behavior is no disussion in the VA4 board

what does the amoled display have to do with it? the amoled exists on many displays and has no refrashing problems, if anything Garmin has an old system and does not manage the awakening of operations!

Not on any board but the venu. No issue with the MIP displays on the vivoactives, forerunner, or fenix devices. And the for some of my CIQ watch faces, they are identical on the various devices, including the venu.

You will only see this on the venu device. None of the other garmin watches. Just check out the forums for the other devices and you can see there's no mention of this.
