HRM intermittently not working

For the past couple of weeks, the HRM on my Venu intermittently refuses to work. Looking back at my HR monitoring, it has blank sections. Restarting the watch, turning wrist sensor off/on again has no effect. Later, it will start working again by itself. If I try to start an activity or broadcast during a time when it is not working, well, it won't work. When it IS working, it appears to work normally.

My wife's Venu is working fine...

Software is 4.00/GpS 2.80/Sensor 3.2/WHR20.04.70.

I have done a full reset and it didn't help. Anyone else had issues? Or anyone at Garmin able to help with a fix? It is extremely annoying.

Image shows a period where the watch had been on my wrist and switched on the entire time...

I'd return to place of purchase for replacement. Esp in the light of your wife's one working.

I found that rebel are excellent at just swapping over (if you purchased from there) in the event of a faulty unit.

Thanks Mark. Bought from Johnny Appleseed. A completely painless swap over this morning :)
