Weight training. Showing next exercise and last used weights?

Hi,
I've been using Venu for 2 weeks now, mostly for weight training. I've created custom strength workouts like this:
"exercise - reps - weight;
rest - lap button press
..."

It kind of works, but I have a couple of annoying problems I cant figure out:
1. It lets me enter last used weight during the rest and I like it. But it doesn't show next exercise until I press the lap button and the exercise is already on.  I need to know whats coming and prepare the weights for the next exercise before it starts.

2. It seems the app does not update the weights logged during the last workout. Every time I start the same workout, I find the same weights I entered then creating the workout. Kind of useless to track weights and not see them during a workout.

Any advice will be appreciated.

    Same issue here, didnt find any workaround for this other then checking each morning the training for that day so I remember what exercises to do. It will only update the reps/weights for that days trainign but will not alter the actual workout, you need to perform that manually :-( Hopefully Garmin will improve this....

  • There is another issue. Custom workouts are restricted with 50 items. If you use repeat option, you can't define different weights/reps for each set.

    I have submited my ideas for support. You should do it too.

    The more we push, the better chances we get for an improvement :)

  • has this issue been fixed?

  • What do you mean you can't define different weights/reps for each set? When I create a superset and I repeat it, lets say three times, when doing the workout, after a superset, it displays all the sets within where I can enter the reps and weight. It does that after each rep of the superset.

  • yeah.. you can do that during the workout.. But you can see the weights in the app only. What I meant was that you cant see those weights before or during the workout in watch itself. If you create a superset and use a repeat option, you can only predifine weight 1 time and all the repeats will be shown with the same weight. So basically you cant see in the watch what weights you previously used and cant enter them manualy either.
