Not possible to add music with the Garmin Connect app?

Hi!

I previously owned a Samsung Galaxy Watch Actice 2 but the gps was to inaccurate so sold that one and I am now thinking of buyinh a Garmin Venu. It was very convenient to add music or podcasts to the Samsung watch directly through the app. Is this not possible on the Garmin Venu? Do I have to connect it to a computer everytime to transfer music?

Hi,

To be able to add music to your Garmin you need to install your music player app (Spotify, Deezer, etc.) on your watch and establish Wi-Fi connection. Once online, you are ready to add any music straight from you watch by selecting your favourite tracks and download them directly to your Venu's memory.

Thanks. But how is it with mp3s? Can I add thoose from my phone to the watch directly to the app or do I have to first transfer them to my computer then to the watch?
