New Venu Owner, few questions

New Venu owner questions:

  1. is there a way to make display appear faster after turning wrist? Right now mine has a 2-3 sec delay. Never had this issue on my Samsung S2 or Versa 2.

  2. is there an easier way to see my notifications? Right now if one comes in and I miss it, I have to scroll thru 4 or 5 screens to get to my messages.

  3. is there a way to program the upper right button or swap it with the lower button? I always hit the upper button instead of the lower one to go back and activate an activity when I don't want to.

    1. Built in watches and those created on the watch are faster to respond than ones from the Connect IQ store. You can also enable ‘Always On’ display. Hold the Back button. Go to Settings. Scroll all the way down to System. Scroll down to Display and change the Timeout to ‘Always on’. This keeps the watch face running in the background and displays a dim simplified version until you turn your wrist. It drains more battery but keeps the watch face ready to display. This will significantly speed up Connect IQ watch faces.

    2. Hold the back button. Go to Settings, Widgets. Find the widget you want to move and touch the three dots on the right. Choose Reorder and drag the widget up and down. You can have the widgets in any order. You can also remove unwanted widgets or add more.

    3. There is no way to reprogram the buttons. Just takes time to get used to the different layout.

    I use the vDash watchface from the Connect IQ store.  It appears with zero delay and has a lot of customization options.  Big fan.
