PacePro

What does everyone think the chances are of getting PacePro on the Venu?

I'm quite keen on using it, but not really sure where the Venu sits in terms of Garmin line up. Initially it was the Fenix 6 only, but it's now hitting other watches, and the fact it's going to be on the 245 means that there is a chance it'll make it to VA4/Venu? Or is that an unrealistic hope?

I don't think I'd expected it on anything but Forerunner and Fenix devices. There are a number of running features on Forerunners that you probably will never see on the vivo series.

Right and as opposed to various running metrics which you may calculate yourself (with 3rd-party services and apps) this one seems to be a real problem only solvable by Garmin since you're not controlling what your watches can do :(

Again as I mentioned in that thread about running metrics it's such a crazy limitation in a sense that due to its form-factor and especially OLED screen is so much better looking compared to super brutal Fenix & ForeRunner so that it is really a very pleasant all-around watches (not only for sports but for the rest of your life as well, and I do you it for checking time - it's still a watch). But screw you - if you don't like to look brutal and wear a huge & ugly piece of magnesium allow (or whatever is used for Fenix body) then don't do serious runs.
