Brightness setting does not work

The brightness setting doesn't work and seems to be fixed to automatic.

There is a brightness setting on the watch to adjust the brightness manually. However, it doesn't do anything. It seems the brightness is set to automatic, unable to change the brightness setting to manual.

Is everyone with the Venu experiencing the same issue?

    Yes, same problem.   Just got it today.  Original firmware on the watch worked fine.  Auto upgraded to 3.4.  Brightness setting 0-100 always looks the same.  Can’t find a auto brightness setting anywhere.  Other than that.  Liking the device...

    Same issue. Got on phone with support and the one they had there has the same problem so they confirmed it. Unfortunately they said my call was the first they heard of it so I pointed them to this forum. Also, how can this not have been tested??

  • Garmin technically does not monitor or read/respond to the forums.  The only thing to do is to either contact support via email, chat or phone call. They have been like this for years.

    Well if their chat support was working I would have reported it.  Tried multiple computers and multiple internet connections.   Plus I always seem to be outside call hours  

    and email support....  10-15 day response really?

    Other than that.  Not a bad device at all.  Wish it had some better watch faces (more info on them) more like the Galaxy Watch that this is replacing.  But hopefully they will come.
