Music cuts out when running

Hello

i recently bought a Venu SQ Music edition, to run and leave my phone at home. went for my first run today and as soon as i start the GPS activity the music stops - initially a lag and then just disappears. ive had my Sony WF XB700 earphones for 2 years and never had an issue with any other device.

as soon as i stop the GPS activity the music continues

any advise? or anyone with the same issue?

Sounds similar to the issue some of the Jabra headphones have. If these Sony headphones have motion sensing, it's possible that your watch is seeing them as a sensor (foot pod)

Hello

thanks for the response - ive tried and managed to put the sensor off, but seems i still have the issue - its like the connection is extremely bad, almost like the first Bluetooth connection for cars early 2000's

anyway, ill keep trying and let you know if i get a solution

My JBL live buds do the same thing. I used my wife's cheap $20 brand once and they actually didn't cut out. Looking on here for ones known to work without issues so I can buy new ones. It's definitely the watch because I don't have the issue when my JBL's are paired to my phone.
