A friend of mine switched from a Suunto Ambit3 to a Garmin Venu SQ.
Now, when using the watches simultaneously, the distance turned out to differ considerably.
After studying the GPS track, the Suunto turns out to be right and the Garmin is wrong.
The Garmin indicates 500m less on a 6km run.
Both watches store a measurement point every second.
It also takes a very long time before the Garmin finally has GPS reception, while the Suunto has reception within 2 seconds.
Is poor GPS reception a known problem with the Venu?
