Garmin Venu Blue Triangle

Hi,

My Venu froze and now will not turn on. It was charged last night but then froze and then went off.
Any time I try and turn it on it is stuck on the blue triangle. I have tried both a soft and hard reset but doesn’t work. The cable works fine with another device so it is not this any other suggestions on what this might be? Hoping to have it working for the weekend!

  • Have you tried disconnecting using the Garmin Express on a PC?

  • Hi, yes unfortunately Garmin express ‘cannot locate device’ when it’s plugged in.

  • I have had this issue as well.  I start the Garmin Express first, then pug in the watch.  Sometimes it takes a few tries before Windows decides to respond.   You can also try unpairing or removing the watch from your phone app, waiting a couple minutes, then repairing it.  Make sure the watch is unpaired under the BlueTooth setting as well before start the pairing process again.

  • So both the Garmin App and Bluetooth on my phone are showing as ‘not connected’ should I completely unpair them too?
the watch doesn’t seem to do anything other than show the blue triangle, no Bluetooth, no other screens. Very frustrating!

  • Sure why not.  If it isn't working now, then unpairing the watch from the phone and the app might release the watch.  You could even restart your phone, log off the app, shut off the phone, then after a couple minutes turn the phone back on.  Before starting the app, test the watch to see if holding the 'A' button down to see if it will cycle through the program and turn off.  If it does, wait two minutes, then turn it back on, before turning the phone back on and logging into the app.
