Stride length

The directions on the app are pretty easy to follow.  If you open the Connect app and go to device, activity tracking, Custom stride length, you just measure out a distance, like 20 feet etc, walk it, count how many steps are in it and it will calculate your stride length for you.

Hmmm, looking at the Connect app, there is an option called Activity, but it does not offer a place to set stride length.

No, it’s under the device settings, activity tracking, custom stride length.

Presumably you refer to the device it self, not the Connect app.  So, on the device itself, I click the B (lower right button when viewing the screen) go to Settings/Activity Tracking, the options are Status, Move Alert, Goal Alerts, Auto Activity Start, and Intensity Minutes. There is no place to set stride length.  Please advise.  i have updated the software.  this is a Venu Square.  Are you thinking of a different device?

I am talking about the connect app.  I have an iPhone so yours may be a little different if you’re on android.  Tap on device, activity tracking, custom stride length.

All, I have an IPhone.  Under Activity it does not offer an option to se stride length.  Gonna reinstall the app.
