Venu SQ stopped recording distance on bike rides only

Are you waiting to make sure you have a green arrow to start the bike ride?  If you start the bike ride before the green arrow it won’t use GPS.  Does it show your route afterwards?

Hi - yes, I get the green arrow. I start the watch/ride in the exact same spot for every ride. It worked properly on Dec 15. I took a break, came back Jan 25, and it was no longer recording distance.

When you look at the ride afterwards does it show the route that GPS would give? Or nothing?

Did you charge it recently before you went on a ride?

It does the same thing regardless of how much charge it has. It will show me instantaneous speed and time elapsed, but distance is always 0, and there's no route available at the end of the ride.

Ah, my point is that there is currently a major glitch where after you charge it stops collecting some data like HR, body battery, stress etc and this might be effecting your bike activity.

I’d do a hard reset by holding down the A button until it shuts off (past any assistance notifications).  After its off wait a few seconds then turn it back on.  Right now you have to do that after every charge.

I am having this same issue.  I tried the hard reset but it didn’t work.  Any other ideas?
