The wife's watch generally a great tool, except...
Incoming Phone Call:
She can see a notification on the watch for an incoming phone call. The notification shows the sender, and allows for a text response (i.e. "I'll call you back.."). The text is received by the sender (me).
Text Message:
She can see a notification pop up for a text message. I see "Messages" and a line that says "New message" If she scrolls down she sees a button that says "Dismiss" and another that says "Block App" What she cannot do is read the contents of the message. She is unable to click or swipe on the "New message" to view the contents. She is unable to reply to the message. Note, for testing, the text messages are being sent to her Android phone from an iPhone. I wouldn't expect that to be an issue(?)

Note: we've looked closely at this posting but the hints and tips there don't seem to apply. I've been all over the suggested fix (reference here), but still a fail. She can't read text messages, sigh.
