Thanks Garmin-Kevin. They’re having me send it back and they’ll replace it with a refurbished one. I just hate to even go a week without my watch!
Garmin Kevin, we had the same problem. GPS worked fine, then suddenly stopped working.
We chatted with support, tried various things, checked GPS version and it was 0.0.
We had already checked for updates…

Software upgrade to 3.20 fixed this issue for me. After software upgrade it request to update firmware for GPS to 6.01.
Resolved.

I am having this same problem. Started a week ago. Definitely looks like a glitch in firmware or application.
Tried all the steps and processes but still same. Even left tbe watch out in open area with GPS activity ON for 1 hour and still says "wait for GPS".
Appreciate a quick fix as i need this feature for fitness trainings.

If you have completed all steps in the 3 FAQs mentioned previously in this thread, including updating the EPO/CPE and you are still having issues connecting to GPS, I would encourage you to reach out to your local Garmin Product Support Team by telephone.
Thanks Garmin-Kevin I have open ticket with Products Team. They also provide same steps and still same issue.
Glad you have been able to establish contact with them! Let's see what resolution they offer after they eventually either fix the issue or exhaust all possible troubleshooting. Please update this thread with what they say.

We had already checked for updates, but was advised to try again, GPS update appeared so we installed. Checked version again, still 0.0, checked for update again nothing, waited and checked again GPS update found, installed, still 0.0.
Garmin asked us to send a folder to them, which we did haven't heard back from them yet but 3.2 update has fixed the issue. Therefore, to say this is an individual watch issue, isn't necessarily correct.
