The Indoor Walking activity does not count distance

As indicated in the title, the Indoor Walking activity does not count distance, it marks the steps that I do in the activity, including the calories consumed, although the distance traveled is frankly ridiculous, as an example the last one Today 6,500 steps, 606 calories, 310 meters traveled and also those steps, although they count towards the total of the day, the kilometers traveled do not appear in the daily sum. As an example of the latter, yesterday and today I did a similar amount of steps, 13,000 well, yesterday I did not walk indoors and I counted 12 kilometers traveled in the day, which more or less corresponds to my stride length, today 7 , 3 kilometers, another tare to add …….

  • Maybe try “walk” instead of “indoor walk” and just turn off GPS and compare.

  • Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried to do the walk without GPS and the result has been similar, 4,225 steps grant 250 meters traveled with 289 calories consumed.

  • I have read that to calibrate my watch to walk indoors, I have to walk a mile, my watch counts approximately 300 meters for 6000 steps, to get to a mile calculate the steps I have to take and walking or running outdoors does not help nothing to self-calibrate, I do not know what the software engineers think with these obstacles, also every time you have to reset the clock which is unfortunately many for the medium to work well, all customizations are lost
