Venu Sq Music Edition - sensors not lighting up or reading data

The green sensors on the back of my watch have not been lighting up for 1 week. I'm not able to get any data for heart rate, sleep and body battery.

I have tried turning the wrist heart rate status from Auto to Off and then back to Auto again. Pulse OX is set to tracking all day. Data recording is set to every second. 

Yesterday I did a reset to default settings which didn't help. Then 2 hours later I went for a walk and the sensors started working again but only for about 6 hours then they stopped.

Today I did a reset to default settings and delete data and this also didn't help. 

Any other suggestions to get this working?

  • Forgot to add that I've also plugged the watch into my computer and synced with Garmin express to ensure that the software is update. 

  • Hello .  Sounds like you're doing all the right things.  The other thing I'd suggest is a hard reset.

    To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch.  Ignore the "Power Off" question and the assistance alert (if applicable) on your watch, just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank.  Once this occurs, you may release the button.  Allow the watch to sit powered off for a few seconds, then you may power it back on by pressing and releasing the power button.
