No call notifications

You may have done all this but have you restarted the watch by holding down the A button for 15 seconds?  Also, double check the settings on the watch itself by pressing B button, settings, Phone, make sure phone status is on, then “notifications”, “not during activity”, “calls and texts”.  Are you receiving your texts and any other notifications you have turned on, on your phone?

Not sure what phone you have but with Apple you have to make sure “notification center” is turned on in order to receive alerts and banner style set to persistent.

All settings have and continue to be to allow messages and phone calls. Yes I have restarted the watch. I have done every step you can think of for settings and what not

Thats so strange.  Have you tried a factory reset?  If that doesn’t work you may need a replacement watch.

Have you done a chat with support on line at support.garmin.com?

For a little while now my Venu SQ watch does not indicate who is ringing me but I think it does vibrate. But it'll happily tell me I've missed the call. What the heck is going on?  My feelings for this watch are going downhill more and more 

They say an update should make this better? I doubt it. What kind of phone do you have?

Have you checked that the Garmin Connect app on your phone has permission to view the contacts on your phone? The symptoms you describe are just what would be expected if the app does not have that permission. (I have known this setting to (apparently) just turn itself off.)

It doesn't seem much better. There is a big lag and alot of times I missed a call. They think it's only my Motorola phone but highly doubt it
