Want to Rename Activity I Create With "Other" or Copy

Yeah it is weird we can’t rename them in the app and then sync to the watch.

Hello! Are you wanting to edit the names of these activities in Garmin Connect or on the watch itself?

I don't care where. There is no way to rename an activity anywhere... I copy an activity to make one that Garmin doesn't include and the name is ACTIVITY (2) which is awful. OR I go to Add and then Other and design my own activity and it has to be called "Other"? Whyyyy? wow. a "rename" feature is soooo simple...

we cant rename them in the watch either. at least on my venu sq.

You can rename the activity from Garmin Connect Web - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities Click the pencil icon to the right of the current activity name, then rename it to whatever you want.

If you're on the app, then open the activity > tap the ellipsis > Edit Activity > tap on Name > rename to whatever you want > Save

no, not rename it AFTER. I know this. When I start an activity on the watch I want to see the activity I designed with the name I choose! it is insane we can design activities but not NAME THEM.

OK, then you're referring to an activity profile. 

ah, ok, sure... i just don't understand why meditation isn't an activity profile... it lowers stress and this is part of fitness. It's a hole in the Garmin ecosystem.

no, I can't get an app for that because none support the Venu Sq for some reason. it really should be a profile.

Understood. I see in the manual that you can create custom activities Venu Sq - Adding a Custom Activity (garmin.com).  However, you can't enter a customized name of your own choosing, as you can in some of the other Garmin watches. Maybe this is something you should request - Share Ideas | Garmin
