Default music app

Is it possible to set a default music app? I don't have the music edition, but when I press play on the music controls (when nothing is playing yet), it opens Pixlr (photo editing app). When I had YT music installed previously it usually opened that. Is there a way to make it open Spotify when I press play?

On mine it defaults to whatever I have opened in my phone so if I have audible open, it plays my book. If I have Apple Music open, it plays my music. See if opening it on the phone first helps.

Hey there! Exactly as Cindi has mentioned. It defaults what is opened last on the actual phone! Let me know if this is not the case and if you are using an iPhone or Android.

I don't always have Spotify open, so I'll try keeping that open. When I tested doing that right now, it opens Spotify when I press play, even when it was recently closed. I don't usually use Pixlr, so I'm not sure why it's choosing that some of the time. The times it has come up I usually have closed out Spotify in the morning, and haven't opened it all day. I will try to remember to test it that way also. I have an Android.
