Venus Sq music not tracking any sleep data

I got the venue sq music three days ago and it hasn't tracked any sleep data at all over the past 2 nights. I have done all of the things suggested by garmin:

  • Added birthday in user settings
  • Wore the device 2 hours before bed
  • Set a sleep/awake window (10pm to 10am because we have a newborn and I wanted to cast a wide net)
  • Set it as my preferred device 
  • Enabled heart rate monitor

I don't get why I don't have any sleep data in Connect. All of my other data is syncing fine

  • Hi, well I don't know if this will help but some days my sleep doesn't show up right away but it looks like yours hasn't at all which is strange.

    Is it showing the rest of your data, i.e., heart rate, steps, stress, intensity minutes, body battery etc?

    If you haven't already I would try:

    1.  Close the app and restart your phone

    2. Force a shut down on the watch by holding the A button past the "sending assistance" alert until it shuts off (about 7 seconds or so).  Then press the A button to re-start it.  

    3.  Sync your watch and see if its uploaded the sleep data.

    Seems like that worked! I hasn't restarted the watch yet, buy once it did it looks like the data got uploaded. Thank you!!!
