My Networks - Searching for Wi-Fi Network -Stuck Spinning

My Home Wi-Fi router is called "Chris-Router-2.4"

In the Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) app I added the network to my device.

Garmin Devices > Venu SQ Music > General > Wi-Fi Networks > Add a Network

After I added the network I tested it.

Garmin Devices > Venu SQ Music > General > Wi-Fi Networks > Chris-Router-2.4 > Test Network Connection

a window pops up saying to test it press 'connect', I push connect and a new window pops up saying "Successfully Connected to "Chris-Router-2.4" and to push 'ok'.

At the same time my Venu SQ shows "connecting to Chris-Router-2.4" and then "Connection Successful"

------Everything seems good the network is added to my Garmin Venu SQ

On my Venu SQ, using the "Menu" button I selected:

Settings > Wi-Fi > My Networks

In this "My Networks" screen I see two choice:

Settings > Wi-Fi > My Networks > Add Network

Settings > Wi-Fi > My Networks > Chris-Router-2.4

--Now I have verified that I have set up my Venu SQ with my home Wi-Fi

Going up a level back to - Settings > Wi-Fi

I select:

Settings > Wi-Fi > Auto Upload (On)

Going up again, back to - Settings > Wi-Fi

I select:

Settings > Wi-Fi > Connect to Wi-Fi

The screen changes to a spinning window with (Searching for Wi-Fi Network),

--It gets stuck.  It does not move to 'transferring' or 'transfer complete'  (like on my other Garmin's)

When my Venu SQ is stuck spinning in this "Searching for Wi-Fi Network", I look at my phone and on the GCM app, and I see that the blue sync circle is spinning.

---------------

I want to load Spotify playlists, but the Venu SQ is not connecting with my home Wi-Fi.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?
