Thoughts on Venu sq from owners

Hi all,

Trying to decide between Venu and Venu sq. I've seen a few posts about the differences so aware of that but just wanted to get owners of the sq to chip in on the experience. Specifically.

build quality
screen quality
out door screen visibility
suitability for small wrists

I’ve had mine since they first came out with it a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it.

The build quality seems solid to me, at least no issues, lightweight aluminum bezel, the case is some sort of plastic polymer, the buttons and screen are very responsive. The screen is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 so its pretty scratch resistant. The screen isn’t an AMOLED like the Venu but is LCD 240 x 240. I briefly tried the Fitbit Versa 2 before this Venu SQ and which was also AMOLED and honestly don’t notice the difference. Its a very clear super nice looking screen. That said, I am sure if you held them up side by side you’d be able to see the difference. I have mine set on the brightest setting and have no issues seeing it outside at all, might be harder if turned down but I like a bright screen either way. I have very small wrists at 5 3/4” and was very hesitant to try these types of smart watches but I think it looks just fine and even better with some thinner bands I bought off of amazon.
