Battery drain or display problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the battery of m'y New SQ. I charged my SQ for 1 hour from 20% to 100%. I do not use Bluetooth. Si, for the first 2.5 days, the battery hardly drain at 80-85%, but in my third Day, it drasticly drains from 80% to 50% in 3-4 hours. Then 10% in m'y fourth Day, and drasticly during the night of m'y fourth Day from 40% to 0%...

I have reboot my watch, and i am testing m'y second week. So faire, i am at 50% with the same problem as before.

Is it a known issue and how to fix it ?

Thank you all in advance.

  • Yes open up Garmin Connect, go to your device, Alerts, turn on Do Not Disturb during sleep.  This keeps it also from lighting up every time you move, roll over etc.

You can also manually put it in do not disturb mode at any time by holding the A button and tapping the moon icon with a slash through it.

  • Do not disturb - yes could be set from both Garmin app and the watch itself.

But Locking screen is available only into watch settings and there the only options are Off, During activity, Not during activity and Always - I think.

It would be useful to add the 5th option here like During sleep.

  • Only from the Garmin app yes you can set it to not disturb you during sleep.  Go to device, Alerts, and tap on “Do not disturb during sleep”.  This effectively “locks” your screen at night and keeps it from turning on accidentally.

  • I had by default Do not disturb during sleep from the very first day using the watch.

However I had 40 % battery drain one night.
