sleep accuracy

Hi, I bought 2 venu SQ for my wife and I, sleep tracking is very important to me. I own a fitbit surge which is pretty accurate with the sleeping time record. The venu SQ for my first night of sleep recorded more sleep than I got, it says only 9 minutes of deep sleep. It didn't record my 2 hours nap as well so I put my sleeping time on all day, then it recorded around 50 minutes of deep sleep during my nap but no REM sleep at all. Is the sleep tracking completely broken? why to even bother adding the feature on their watch?

  • Iv had mine for months now since last year. It's still inaccurate. It says im sleeping when im laying in bed watching TV. My fitbit inspire much cheaper did a much better job at this. I almost disregard this feature now in the past I used to love checking it on my fitbit a bit disappointing for a watch that is much more expensive than my last.

  • Especially sleeping-in and waking-up times are pretty inaccurate (sticking too much to the user-defined setting).

What I'm really interested in is, if it's planned that the Venu SQ will receive the Firstbeat Sleeptracking?
