Vector 3 left pedal out of order

Hi,

I am trying to fix my left pedal which is no longer working since months. Vector 3 products were ordered/received in April 2018.

Power data are not available, right pedal blinks green 3 times looking for a communication to the other pedal, batteries are new on both sides and are the Garmin recommended one LR44, batteries covers and PCB interconnections are new, from the last generation and have just been assembled, left pedal cannot communicate with Garmin Connect as per Garmin Connect status.

After having proceeding with the above steps of maintenance, the symtoms have remained unchanged.

The left pedal has never received any mechanical or thermal shock. The bike is located in a basement where the relative humidity is very steady.

Has anyone a idea of what would be the next step of maintenance ?

    Here the fix I have finally found :

    The connection from my left pedal to my smartphone (Huawei/Android) is no longer working. All other Garmin devices I used are correctly communicating with the smartphone.

    I downloaded Garmin connect on my iPad and proceeded with setting-up the Vector 3 device.

    The left pedal was able to connect to Garmin connect / iPad and to download the latest firmware. 

    Left pedal and right pedal are up to date and paired.

    The first try on the roll has shown Power data being retrieved. It seems to work better than never btw (quicker start-up, no power drop,...)

    Hope this fix can help some other end users.
