Help with cycling dynamics when indoor training with workouts.

Hi,

I have just bought some Vector 3 pedals to gain some extra stats (cycling dynamics) during my training but I have a problem. My indoor trainer is a Wahoo Kickr Snap and head unit is an Edge 830.

The problem,

When completing a workout from the head unit (usually sent from Trainerday) my trainer would adjust the resistance to meet the power requirements, all works well. But since adding the Vector 3 pedals the resistance doesn't change on the trainer. I thought the head unit would tell the trainer to adjust the resistance based on the power reading it had, but it doesn't. Can an Edge unit do this?

In the Kickr setting I can add the Vector 3 Ant+ ID for rebroadcast, this makes the Kickr use the Vector 3 pedals for power instead of its own internal power meter. However, this requires me to use the Kickr for power on the Edge from the sensors menu and not the Vector 3 pedals directly, which then doesn't include the cycling dynamics.

So, is there a way around this problem? In summary I would like to complete indoor workouts on the trainer where the resistance changes automatically based on the Vector 3 power reading while also recording the cycling dynamics.

Thanks Paul,
