I'm fortunate to be still using my 2011 Garmin Edge 800 without any issues in the last 9yrs. I'm looking out to buy the New Vector3 pedals and I noticed that Edge800 is not under the compatible devices list.
I know that the pedals will pair with the 800 as a Power Meter just fine and will probably not show Cycling Dynamics data on the device. But will the C.D. data be available once I upload the data to Garmin Connect? or does it need a compatible HeadUnit to record the Cycling Dynamics in the first place?.
I may then have to completely drop the idea completely as I don't want to plonk more money on a newer Head Unit just for the Cycling Dynamics.
