Different accounts, same pedals

Hello, vector 3 noobie here.

My wife and I have one inside stationary bike that we share when the weather is bad. She’s considering getting a fitness tracker (I’m strongly pushing for Garmin). Would there be a way to add two accounts to the vector 3 pedals and Edge 1030plus so that we both can get cycling dynamics on the one stationary bike?

Ideally, we wouldn’t have to disconnect and reconnect every single time.

Also, if it isn’t possible, would there be confusion for the vectors if she used the bike/pedals and they were not connected to a tracked workout from my end? I don’t want random workouts showing up on my Garmin Connect whenever she exercises.

There’s no problem with the pedals being connected to more than one edge or different accounts .. However there is a problem with sharing an Edge.

If you both have an Edge linked up to individual Garmin accounts then both devices can be connected without a problem

If you actually share the Edge as well as the pedals You may do better posting in the Edge forum to see if folk have workarounds for more than one account being linked to an Edge device.

Hi, did you go with this set up? I am too just adding vector 3s to a spin bike. I want to use them on zwift. My wife would possibly using them on some other platform and I was wondering on having two users on two sets of pedals.

I have a Garmin fenix or could use my phone.

My wife would likely use her phone.

Yes, all you do is just connect the Vector 3 pedals to both devices as a sensor. Works great.
