The number etched on the pedal is supposed to be the pedal ID, but Wahoo won’t accept this if you try and control Kickr with your vectors. Anyone know if there is a way to clarify an Ant ID number?

Is the ant id number of your pedal higher than 65536? It may be that the Kickr won't accept higher value IDs. Try doing the calculation (new ID = pedal ID mod 65536) and entering that result.
Yeah, vectors are a six figure number and when you try to type it into the Wahoo app to control the kickr it automatically changes it to a four number ID that I’ve never seen?
I’ll see if that works
The Wahoo App will accept the ant+ ID on the spindle and do the conversion on its own and display it.
I wasn’t sure/am not sure that the 4 digit ID Wahoo produces is correct as when I’ve left that number is as the specific ID the power readings from my vectors and the kickr can be say 5-10% different over the course of a workout? For example 90 min session on Sunday had Kickr saying 260AP and Vectors at 240AP, which I’d say is quite a bit?
When I zero’d out the ID again and don’t let the Wahoo app produce a specific, the next workout I did the following day was within 2-3 watts?
Thanks for info anyway.
To be honest I have never checked. I calibrate the pedals using the Edge 1030 and then I let the Wahoo KICKR do its thing while using the pedals as the power source.
Hi, I know this was a while ago but, did you ever get this working? I'm trying to add my Vector 3 pedals to the Wahoo Kickr config but it doesn't like the 6 digit ant+ ID.
I have tried pedal ID mod 65536, and that didn't work.
Thanks Paul,
No didn't work for me using Wahoo app to do this, it just wouldn't recognise the ID, although I haven't tried Wahoo app for a while to see if this has changed. I use Fulgaz and Trainerroad as part of my turbo sessions now and they both support using power meters to control Kickr and it works really easily and well, you just select the power source from the app menus.
