Right pedal dead after battery change

I have run my pedals with CR1/3N batteries for 6 months without issues. The low power warning just came on so I changed batteries. First I put LR44's in I had laying around but had massive drop outs on that ride. Put in CR1/3N and the right pedal won't wake up. Changed back to LR44 but still dead. Tried cleaning the contact surfaces.

I get a 0 error code and after a few tries 1024. Funny thing I got a successful calibration while pedaling on the trainer!? But then back to 0/1024.

I've asked support for new pedals but just wanted to know if you had any last tips? Hawaii coming up in 4 weeks...

Posted on social and got lot's of "Happened to me too...". I know at least 4 people having non working Vector 3's right now.

standard question, you cleaned battery doors with alcohol and used baby oil for the batteries?

Yes, I know. But @t_smit has written that it could also mean it's not awake.

you can try to exchange the batteries from left to right, to see, if battery himself is OK?

again cleaning, it's possible that you used to much baby oil?

FW upgrade to actual beta isn't good, when this issue isn't solved!

I switched the batteries and doors from L/R but still, R is dead.

eventually is the contact on the battery door or inside the pedal damaged, you tried to exchange the battery doors from right to left, to see if the error comes from the left pedal instead?

if it is only the battery door, you can order quickly on Garmin shop!

sorry, haven't seen, you changed the doors too, think you need an RMA exchange, normally it goes fast, a week or so!

i haven't asked directly Garmin, it depends where you have bought i think, if you bought them at your local bike dealer, you can try!

i bought them at local bike dealer, i know the guys a little bit better, they said, they give me the money back, if necessary, anyway my vectors replaced 2 times by Garmin and it seems the third one are working totally fine
