~20 watts drift between Vector 3 and Tacx NEO

I recently purchased a set of Garmin Vector 3 pedals. However, after a few rides I noticed a significant number of dropouts and was advised to replace the battery board and door covers. I also noticed power drift between the pedals and my NEO as per below output

I swapped out the battery board and door covers and reran the test.

It seems the Vector 3 pedals are still reading at least 20 watts lower than the NEO

Any ideas?

  • Try to pedal only with your left leg on Neo and make a test , lets say 4x1min one legged pedaling with left at 80-100w , rest between 1min with 2 legs at 150w , You can do it in ERG mode too with preloaded workout . If your left leg is weaker than it could be the reason why You get so low measuring with V3s (or the V3 has some problem) Do You manually zeroing your V3 before every workout? If You have the test FIT files , pls share the result, this 1legged drill test will show that is it balance issue or something else
