how to register Vector 3 upgrade pedal

The Garmin site wants you to use the windows app only to register it which isn't possible. I can't find a manual way to do it.

What are you asking? You should be able to link the right pedal to the left using GCM. That is the only thing you should have to do. The left pedal is the only one that actually links to the head unit, watch, or phone. The left pedal receives data from the right pedal and then transmits that combined data to the head unit. If it is not linked to a right pedal it is a Vector 3s system. If it has a connection to a right pedal it is a Vector 3 system. There is no other registration to do since the right pedal never connects to anything other than the left pedal it is paired to.

exactly. Especially if you bought the upgrade pedal at a different shop as the "orignial" 3s

So that isn't what is being asked, but it is what is being asked? I'm still super confused. When you go on GCM and link the right pedal to the left, you have now entered the pedal serial number and "Registered the pedal" to your account in the exact same way that a normal Vector 3 system does. What other registration are you looking for?

the point isnt the "technical" connection between the pedals but the product registration at garmin to receive service mails, for things like warranty issues, etc.
I -as for my part- do only see the vector3s as a registered product in my garmin account (not GCM but mygarmin), so I thought of letting garmin know I now own a "full" vector 3 system and would like to receive (in case of availabilty) service calls, etc. for the vector system as a whole and not only for the vector 3s. Hope that makes it more clear ?

So call Garmin and ask them to add the update pedal to your registered products if it makes you feel better. I would bet they will tell you that it is already registered or that it doesn't matter. There is no difference between a Vector 3s left pedal and a Vector 3 left pedal except that the Vector 3 pedal is paired to an upgrade pedal from the factory. The serial number reported for a 3 and a 3s system are always the left pedal serial number only.

We want to register on the mygarmin site as the right pedal upgrade will have a different warranty period to the left. Posting this here will hopefully mean they will add functionality to the registration site for any future pedal upgraders.

So we don't all have to email or phone call them.
